Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

The rights of the author are stipulated as follows:

1. The author of the article must be primarily and directly responsible before the law, the Journal's Leadership, the Academy's Leadership for the content, quality, legality and copyright of the article.

2. The author of the article must publicly disclose any obvious and potential conflicts of interest of the article (if any).

3. The author of the article is obliged to comply with the regulations on the rules for posting articles in the Journal of Policy and Development Studies; edit and complete the article according to the requirements of the Reviewers and the Editorial Board of the Journal.

4. The order of the authors' names is arranged according to regulations, the position of the author's name is proportional to the role of contribution to the published work in the research article. The author of the article is responsible for arranging the order of the authors of the article and the names of the co-authors.

5. Authors are not allowed to submit manuscripts to other Journals while there is no final approval decision from the Secretariat and are responsible for publishing duplicate articles with other Journals (if any); are not allowed to provide information related to themselves in the article; are not allowed to contact reviewers during the process of the Journal processing the article. 6. Authors of articles or co-authors published in the Journal of Policy and Development Studies are counted as scientific research hours (for Lecturers of the Academy) according to the Regulations of the Academy of Policy and Development.

Copyright of articles published in the Journal (print and electronic versions) belongs to the author of the research article and the Academy of Policy and Development.
