Abstract

Transitioning from the linear economy to the circular economy has been a strong trend in many countries around the world in recent years. To overview the development of the circular economy in Vietnam and propose and recommend implementing a circular economy in Vietnam in the coming time, the author of the article used secondary data collection methods and research. Research and analyze data collected from legal documents and state policies, books, newspapers, reports, and research related to the economy. The article mentioned concepts, principles, and benefits of the circular economy, as well as perspectives, goals, policies, and models of the circular economy in Vietnam. The limitations and inadequacies in developing a circular economy in Vietnam have led to some suggestions and recommendations for implementing a circular economy in Vietnam in the near future.
