Author's Rights
The provisions on the rights and responsibilities of the author are as follows:
1. The author of the article bears the primary and direct responsibility before the law, the Journal's leadership, and the Academy's leadership for the content, quality, legality, and copyright of the article.
2. The author submitting the article for publication must disclose any explicit or potential conflicts of interest related to the article (if any).
3. The submitting author is obligated to comply with the rules for publication in the Journal of Policy and Development Studies and revise the article according to the requirements of the Reviewers and the Journal’s Editorial Board.
4. The order of the authors' names must follow the established guidelines, reflecting the level of contribution to the published research. The submitting author is responsible for arranging the order of the authors and ensuring the inclusion of all co-authors' names.
5. The author is not permitted to submit the manuscript to another journal until a final decision is made by the Journal’s Secretariat. The author is responsible for avoiding duplicate submissions to other journals (if any). Additionally, the author must not disclose personal information within the article or engage with reviewers during the journal's processing of the submission.
6. Authors and co-authors whose articles are published in the Journal of Policy and Development Studies will have their research hours counted (for the APD’s lecturers) according to the Academy of Policy and Development’s regulations.
