Managerial accounting plays a vital role in providing financial and operational information that enables managers to plan, forecast, and make informed strategic decisions. Within the context of an Institute of the Academy of Policy and Development in Danang, there is a pressing need to modernise the pedagogical approaches employed in the Managerial Accounting curriculum to align with the demands of digital transformation and workplace readiness. This study employs a mixed-method approach, combining a comprehensive literature review, comparative analysis of teaching methodologies, and field surveys supported by statistical analysis. Findings indicate that nearly 90% of students perceive current teaching practices as modern and innovative; however, significant gaps remain in students' digital literacy and vocational competencies. The paper proposes innovations designed to integrate digital technologies, experiential learning, and vocational training into managerial accounting education, thereby enhancing students' practical skills and aligning academic outcomes with contemporary labour market requirements.
