This article analyzes the role and impact of public investment on Vietnam's socio-economic development in recent times. Based on 2023 data and a regional geographical analysis, the article demonstrates that public investment not only promotes GDP growth but also improves infrastructure, people's living standards, and drives economic restructuring. However, shortcomings still exist, such as uneven distribution among regions and inefficient capital utilization. The article proposes specific policy recommendations to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of public investment in the coming period.
