Abstract

Innovative startups have been and are the driving force for economic development and a decisive factor for the competitiveness of universities in the country and around the world. In recent years, the startup ecosystem in Vietnam has witnessed remarkable formation and development, creating a strong startup wave. Universities are an indispensable foundation for the development of the national startup ecosystem; a place to create creative ideas and incubate those creative ideas into products that are useful to society. This article analyzes the role of universities in the startup ecosystem, studies startup education activities, and proposes a number of solutions to promote the role of universities in the innovative startup ecosystem
