Abstract

The study is to organize previous international publications on digital transformation in higher education, compile statistics, and evaluate the most influential authors, organizations, and countries in this research area. Research data was meticulously collected and analyzed from the OpenAlex database using VOSviewer 1.16.19 software, with 239 articles for the keyword "Digital Transformation in Higher Education" filtered in the Abstract section as of September 15, 2024. The results unequivocally demonstrate that studies on digital transformation in higher education emerged in 2015, experienced a steady increase from 2020, and reached a peak in 2023 with 63 articles. Additionally, the study decisively identifies the most influential authors, countries, and universities with the most publications and citations in research on digital transformation in higher education. The research results undeniably provide a systematic overview of research on digital transformation in general and specifically in higher education
